Welcome to Sthala.design! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sthala.design website located at https://sthala.design (the “Site”) and are a legally binding agreement between you and Sthala Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue use immediately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Site on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.
2. Use of the Site
2.1 Permitted Use
Sthala.design is a platform for showcasing Indian architecture and interior design projects. You may use the Site to browse project showcases, learn about Indian design, and, if you are a registered user, submit your own projects in accordance with these Terms and our Content Guidelines.
2.2 Account Registration
To access certain features of the Site, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2.3 User Content
Users may submit content to the Site, including project descriptions, images, and other materials (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize us to use your User Content in the manner contemplated by the Site and these Terms.
- Your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights, or other proprietary or intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Your User Content is accurate and not misleading.
- Your User Content is not defamatory, libelous, hateful, violent, obscene, pornographic, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable.
- Your User Content complies with our Content Guidelines (if applicable).
We reserve the right to remove or refuse to publish any User Content for any reason at our sole discretion.
2.4 License to User Content
By submitting User Content to the Site, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Site and our business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Site (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also grant to each user of the Site a non-exclusive license to access your User Content through the Site, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform such User Content as permitted through the functionality of the Site and under these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Site Content
The Site and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Sthala Design and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works or adaptations of, publicly display or in any way exploit, any of the Site’s content in whole or in part except as expressly permitted by us.
3.2 Sthala.design Trademarks
The Sthala.design name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Sthala Design or its licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks used to make the Site available.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any other systems or networks connected to the Site.
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission.
- Transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or any items of a destructive nature.
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Site, or which, as determined by us, may harm us or users of the Site or expose them to liability.
- Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Site.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SITE OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE THE SITE AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE SITE IN TERMS OF THEIR CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, ADEQUACY, USEFULNESS, TIMELINESS, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STHALA DESIGN, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SITE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SITE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SITE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sthala Design and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site, including, but not limited to, your User Content, your use of any content other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from the Site.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 7 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Site after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Site.
