Sthala.design is a platform dedicated to showcasing and celebrating Indian architecture and interior design. To maintain a positive, professional, and respectful environment for our community, we have established these Community Guidelines. By using Sthala.design (https://sthala.design) (the “Site”), you agree to abide by these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Be Respectful and Professional
We encourage respectful and constructive interactions within our community. Please:
- Treat all users with courtesy and respect.
- Engage in civil discussions and debates.
- Provide constructive feedback and critique.
- Be mindful of cultural sensitivities and diverse perspectives within the Indian design context.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following types of content and conduct are strictly prohibited on Sthala.design:
- Offensive or Harmful Content: Do not post content that is defamatory, libelous, hateful, violent, discriminatory, harassing, bullying, or threatening towards any individual or group.
- Obscene or Inappropriate Content: Avoid posting content that is sexually suggestive, pornographic, or exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
- Spam and Unsolicited Promotion: Do not use Sthala.design for spamming, advertising, or promoting products or services unrelated to Indian architecture and design without our explicit permission.
- Misleading or False Information: Do not post false, inaccurate, or misleading information, including misrepresenting your identity or affiliations.
- Copyright Infringement: Respect intellectual property rights. Do not post content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others. (Refer to our Copyright Policy).
- Illegal Activities: Do not use Sthala.design for any illegal activities or to promote unlawful behavior.
- Personal Information of Others: Do not share the personal information of others without their consent.
- Disruptive Behavior: Do not engage in behavior that disrupts the normal flow of dialogue, excessively posts repetitive content, or otherwise negatively impacts the experience of other users.
3. Content Guidelines for Project Submissions
When submitting projects to Sthala.design, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Indian Focus: Projects must be located in India or demonstrably related to Indian architecture, design principles, or culture.
- High Quality: Submissions should be well-written, factually accurate, and visually rich with high-quality images and videos.
- Professional Tone: Maintain a professional and sophisticated tone in all descriptions and project details.
- Accurate Attribution: Properly credit all architects, designers, photographers, and other contributors involved in the project.
- Relevance: Ensure your submission is relevant to the categories and themes of Sthala.design (Residential, Commercial, Interior Design, Sustainable Design, etc.).
4. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Community Guidelines, please report it to us immediately. You can report violations by contacting us at: info@sthala.design. Please provide specific details and links to the content or user in question to help us investigate effectively.
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right to moderate content and user activity on Sthala.design to ensure compliance with these Community Guidelines. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:
- Removing or editing content that violates these guidelines.
- Issuing warnings to users.
- Temporarily or permanently suspending user accounts.
Our decisions regarding enforcement are final and at our sole discretion.
